The Director General of Income and Sales Tax Department, Dr. Hossam Abu Ali thanked all taxpayers who submitted their tax declaration during the specified legal period, and for their commitment and response to performing their financial obligations during the specified legal period without any delay

  The department emphasis the necessity of the speed registration in the system and reconcile their situation with the requirements of the electronic national billing system as quickly as possible to avoid legal accountability and to exposure to legal fines

The department indicated that submission of declarations and registration in the electronic national billing system had done electronically through the department’s website www.istd.gov.jo

Note that the department has updated the forms of the income tax declaration for the fiscal year 2023 and has uploaded it on the website, as well as you can download it from the e-government program for all categories of taxpayers, employees, individuals, companies, and development zones, by accessing the electronic link www.istd. gov.jo then choose the electronic services icon

The department called on taxpayers to pay the amounts that have been declared in their declarations, cash or through the available electronic payment methods. It also asked taxpayers to submit the declarations for the year 2023 as soon as possible and not to delay their submission and not to wait to submit at the end of the legal period

The department explained that all taxpayers can communicate with the taxpayers’ services center(TPSC) in the department via phone or the WhatsApp at the phone number 062222130 or through various social media for guidance, receiving the required assistance, answering their inquiries and comments, as well as helping them to conduct their transaction procedures electronically and responding to it at the shortest possible time
